Hummingbird Local Marketing Specialists is a two-partner marketing agency based in Orpington, working with owner-run businesses across South East London and North West Kent. We work as your marketing team, not as a supplier you ring when it's quiet.
After thirty years planning marketing for national brands and growing businesses of every size, Derryn kept meeting the same local business owner: brilliant at the work, overwhelmed by the marketing, and sold packages by agencies and directories that never quite delivered. Stefan, building websites and systems for small businesses, kept seeing the other half of the problem: good enquiries lost to missed calls, unchased quotes and websites that didn't work on a phone.
Derryn and Stefan have worked together on websites and marketing for local businesses since 2006, so the partnership is proven rather than new. Hummingbird brings the two halves together. Senior marketing judgement and proper technical delivery from the same two people, using AI to work faster and keep prices where a local business can afford them, and built around a plan that fits your budget rather than a menu that fits ours.
The name is deliberate. A hummingbird is small, fast, precise and works harder than anything its size has a right to. So do the businesses we work with.
